Where is Waldo??? (aka Eli)

Bonnie & Clyde Saturday night we went to Murder Mystery costume party at Woods Funeral Home. Ben's Aunt Vicki (its really his cousin, but we call her aunt anyway :) invited us and did a great job of planning and pulling it all off. We started off playing a few "kiddy" Halloween games - kind of a get to know you. We then had a fun dinner, a halloween music game (played halloween songs and we had to guess what movie they were from), and then to the chapel for a Halloween Scary movie guessing game with the lights dimmed. Clips were played from random scary movies and we had to write down which movie they were (After doing this I realized I really don't watch many scary movies.) People kept coming down the isle in costumes trying to spook us as we watched. Then last, but definately not least we played the murder mystery. It was really well played out and fun. They read a case of a lady that was murdered and we were the detectives that had to figure out who did it and why. We then were given a 1/2 hour to go through the rooms of the funeral home to find clues. The lights were turned off and each couple had a flash light. They did a great job with props, fog machines, and strobe lights. Overall it was a really fun night!

Update of Eli (14 months) Eli is so fun to watch. He is ALWAYS moving and looking for something new to do. He loves to play outside and insists on going out whenever the door opens. If we are missing anything in the house we look downstairs because odds are it has made it down the stairs. I'm constantly going down with a laundry basket to pick it all up. These were taken while Eli was watching Shrek. In case you couldn't tell it is his favorite movie! He loves to climb into cupboards(he was standing inside, but I didn't get the camera fast enough and of course he didn't want to go back in for me...) Loves playing with his toys (especially balls) Loves putting things on his head Still loves the broom

In September the Manwaring sisters and mom were able to escape (thanks for all the husbands watching the kids) for a night in Victor, IF at the Fox Creek Inn Bed & Breakfast. We arrived at dinner time and enjoyed being together in the quiet without having to watch or feed our kids. We had a blast as usual with lots of fun chatting, and of course our new tradition of “Our favorite things” We each brought our favorite item to share with everyone and went home with fun bags of new things! Here is a picture and list of items I stole off Elena Bog (Why write it again when it’s already done for you :) Thanks to Elena and Becky we have fun pictures. The Bed & Breakfast was so nice and the beds were COMFY!! You'd think that we would have gone to sleep and gotten some rest, but instead we stayed up laughing and talking until 2:30 am, but we did get to sleep in until 10 the next morning so that was wonderful. David and Julie (the owner) made us a beautiful breakfast and kept us entertained. What a hoot these two were. Seriously, don't they just look like fun? Who wouldn't enjoy them making you a breakfast fit for a king? Thank you to them for making our weekend completely enjoyable. Julie's bird ,"Girl Bird", entertained us with her dances and talking. And of course, you can't go to Jackson without getting your picture taken in front of the famous antler arch. Back: Amber, Kaylin, Emily, Becky. Front: Missy (holding Izzie), Me, Anna, Natalie, Katie Our get away ended with dinner at Johnny Carinos and some uplifting messages from the women leaders of our church at the General Relief Society Broadcast. Now we all sit and wait for another year to do it all over again!
