WOOD BADGE CEREMONY Left to Right: one of the presenters, Ben, Destry (Other Scout Master), Chad (my brother), Mayor Fuhriman (Presenter) Last summer Ben went to Wood Badge. For those like me who know nothing about scouts, it is a leadership training program for adults. During the training they set goals and for completing them they get a ticket. After they have completed all their tickets they receive the award (wooden beads knotted on a leather thong, the Gilwell neckerchief with the MacLaren tartan, the woggle, and the Wood Badge certificate... can't tell I had to google what it is all called, can you? :) Anyway it is all now completed and we are proud of him!! (and we know Grandpa Holley the master scouter is proud)

Way to go, Benjamin and Chad! Thanks for inviting us, we were way proud. Many commented on the great scouter you are. I think there should be a award for scout master wives though, they sacrifice and do alot too. We are proud of you too, Kaylin and Lisa!
