Living room makeover (Under $10)
So Friday I made pizza dough and while I was waiting for the dough to rise you could say I got a little side distracted. I started going through my bin of fabric and came across some that I have had for a couple of years with the intention of making pillows and never had, but finally I did it and was way excited with the results! It was the perfect finishing touch to the partially finished living room I have had for a few weeks. Lets just say dinner Friday was a late one after I had covered 3 pillows! :)

I started this room in January with painting my chest and small table black. It was warm (still 35-40 degrees) for a few days and I took advantage. Then I moved the curtains that used to be in my bedroom and brought up the left over carpet from our bedroom and used it as a rug. I'm happy to report that I spent $9 on spray paint and the rest was stuff I had around the house.

Kaylin I love it. I get distracted like that too and before I realize it 2 hours have passed. I like the furniture rearrangement and I love the pillows and everything you did. You are so thrifty too!
you're SO creative!! i loved your hubby tag. it was so cute! i din't know you married a blind date! that gives me hope for all the hundreds of blind dates i get set up on! oh and eli is ADORABLE!! that picture of him standing up on the arms of his chair... CLASSIC!
