A day out with Thomas!

Ben's sister had told us about Heber City Train station having a day out with Thomas last year, but we never made it .  So this year we had to go. Especially since Eli is so into trains and next year who knows what he will be into.  So we made the trip and had a fun weekend.  We went up Friday night and stayed with Brandon and Emily.  Eli had a blast playing with Collin and getting a new addiction of Angry Birds.  We got a babysitter that night and went to a movie.  Then Saturday morning we went to see Thomas and stayed for a few hours.  It was a cold day and probably would have stayed longer if it was warmer.  We stayed long enough to get our moneys worth and Eli had a blast.  We then went to Temple Square and took Eli to see the Christus and Conference Center. Eli was quite the chatter box with the missionaries at the conference center.  We told him it was where conference is that we watch on the TV and how the prophet goes there. Eli responded all on his own,"Oh Yeah, Thomas S Monson, he is in my book." It was really cute! From Temple Square we headed to my brother Dan's house and had a great relaxing movie night!  Eli loved being with Aubrey, Logan, and Carter.  He especially loved that he got to sleep on the top bunk bed in Logan's room!  Heaven!!  Eli keeps asking when we are going to Utah again, and we will have to do it again soon!

We had a blast taking Eli to see Thomas.  He kept asking where Percy and James were, then he would say "Are they are Tidmouth Sheds?".  So only Thomas came to visit Utah and it was very exciting!  The only thing that Eli didn't like was that Thomas didn't talk back, but Eli did say Hello to Thomas and Goodbye when we left!
