Eli went to the Dentist and did awesome! Unfortunately there was a cavity which called for another Dentist Visit... Eli hates things on his face, I mean HATES!! so when they tried to put the laughing gas thing over his nose he about had a heart attack. They office staff was really nice and we left without filling the cavity. They didn't want to traumatize him about going to the dentist. So another appointment was scheduled which involved putting him under so he didn't know what was going on. The cavities were filled and everything went as planned. BUT Eli couldn't walk for a couple of hours without falling over, and he could not hold still! It made him kind of hyper, but with no balance I had to sit and hold onto him. It was funny to watch and we laughed a lot that morning. Unfortunately he bit his lip when it was numb and swelled three times the size it was supposed to the next day. He wouldn't leave it alone which made it take even longer to go back to the normal size. His first day of Preschool was 3 days later and lets just say the pictures that his teacher took is laughable. I took his first day pictures a week later when the swelling was gone. Poor kid! At least he is young enough he didn't care about having to go to school with a swollen lip.
