Eli -18 months, February 17th.
Eli has become our little jabber mouth and monkey. He was given monkey PJ's for Christmas and they sure fit his personality!

Here are a few things we love about Eli:

1. He LOVES to play Peek-A-Boo! Doesn't matter if it is with hands, the door, blanket, curtains, ect....

2. He loves bowls, pots, cups- anything he can hold and put things in. he loves to get crackers and transfer them from one bowl to another. (Lately he takes empty bowls to the fridge and hoping someone will put water in them - Last Sunday Ben gave him some water to see what he would do and he took it to Ben's shoe and poured it in. Hard not to laugh when your supposed to tell him he is being naughty!!)

3. He loves Baths. He is really funny to watch and his latest thing is he loves to pour water on the edge of the tub to see if he gets in trouble, and when he does, he takes a soaked wash cloth and "cleans" it up making a bigger mess than before.

4. He loves Meisha and all dogs for that matter! When he sees a new dog he calls them "MeeeesAHHH" They have become quite attached.

5. When Eli wants something he will grab our hands and take us to what he wants and if we don't follow and he leaves we hear the bucket being dragged or carried somewhere. He is becoming very independent.

6. He loves to cook or know what is being cooked (and loves to taste it all) and either drags his bucket over to watch or we sit him on the counter. As you can see he is a BIG HELP!

7. He loves to play in his room and read his books. When he is reading he jabbers and tells a long story (I'm still trying to get this on video- he stops every time I turn it on)

8. Here is our little monkey (he even makes sounds similiar to monkeys when he whines). If he wants to get somewhere he will find a way. Ever since he could stand we had to strap him in the high chair to get him to eat, but then he got strong enough that he could weasle his way out and end up really stuck in the straps. lately standing in the chair hasn't been enough and I find him sitting on the back of the chair back or even worse balancing on the arms or standing on the tray in his food.

9. He started climbing out of the crib over a month ago so he is now in a big boy bed and loving it. He has fallen out a few times, but he is getting better. In the morning I can hear him get out of the bed then he goes to the door and knocks so we will come and let him out. He is really funny!

10. His favorite words are "uh-oh", "Wow", "yeah!!", "Meesahh", "dada", "Mama" or "mummy" when he cries, "Whaz dat?", "Ohhhh Wow!!", "bye", "Hi"

He is such a cutie! I'm glad Logan and this next one will have a boy cousin close to their age. It will be so fun for them!
