Friday Night Ben took his scouts snow caving. Unfortunately I didn't take the pictures off the camera before giving it to him and only one more picture fit on the memory card, but we are glad for the one picture we do have. He and another leader slept in his cave and he said it wasn't ever colder than 40 degrees while the other 2 leaders slept in a tent and it got down to -7. He loved it so much last weekend that this weekend he is taking his brothers.
Last night Benjamin was awarded the North Caribou Distric Extra Miler Award at the annual District Dinner. If anyone deserves this award, he does. He has gone on a campout every month (except for 2 - one when Eli was born, and the other when I was in the hospital for a galbadder attack) since he was put in as Scout Master (almost 3 years). He is a great example to his boys and they love him! They are learning to love scouting almost as much as Ben!

Wow, congrats Ben! I don't really know what that award means but a campout every month? That is pretty crazy. He must be an awesome scount master. And you are an awesome wife for spending a weekend without him once a month. :) By the way, I love the organizing and re-dec from the last post too! You need to live closer to me so you can help me fix up my house! :)
