Eli's First Birthday Party!
This is the first Birthday party I have just "dropped" him off at. It was a strange feeling, even if it was just to his cousins house. He is growing up so fast! He was so excited to go to a party with "cake, candles, fire, and candy" I love that this picture shows his excitement!
He is such a good kid and fun to listen to. His imagination is really developing and he says some really funny things! These last few weeks he keeps talking about Ghosts (They are nice and friendly ghosts) and what they are doing. He love to play with ALL kids and gets so excited when anyone comes over! His favorite food is Yogurt, Banana's, Peanut butter and Honey/Jelly sandwiches, and Chocolate Milk. He likes to play purple palace (computer game) and in the last few weeks has gotten pretty good at it. He knows Netflix and can change the show and find what he wants to watch all by himself (sometimes needs a little help because "Dad's shows keep coming up" as he would say)
He still is an all "Pain" (Train) kid and builds and rebuilds his train tracks EVERY day since Christmas! He still sleeps with his Choo Choo Blue train, Percy, Car, Diesel, and James on his Choo Choo Bed (train sheets)
Eli still wants to watch Christmas shows, I know it is March, but he just watched one this morning. He will be ultra ready for Santa this year! He wakes up in the morning and if a toy was moved or put away he says "Santa came and moved {insert toy here}" He asks at least once a week if we can put the "Big Tree" up (Christmas tree). He knows right where it is stored in the basement. :) I have a feeling that come December procrastination of the tree will no longer be an issue.
Everyday he wants to go outside an play (aka look to see if the girls next door can play) If they aren't outside he goes and sits on their front step or wonders to their backyard to see if he can see them in their kitchen. I have to keep apologizing the our neighbors for "Peeping Eli" just sitting outside their patio door staring in. :) I'm constantly bringing him back to our yard, but at least I always know where to find him.
I took him to our neighbor girls baptism Saturday and had the following conversation after:
Mom: Eli, did you have fun going to the baptism?
Eli: Paige splashed in the water!
Mom: She was in the water to get Baptised.
Eli: NO! Paige splashed and swim in the water.
Eli is always Right!!lol
One last funny thing. He gets his You, Me, and I's all mixed up. So he keep saying "Show me, Show me" when he really wants one of us to come see something meaning "Show You, Show you". He is so funny and saying new words everyday. He brings laughter and fun to our house everyday!
