Say "CHEESE"

Spencer James - 9 months
Wow!  Can he really be getting this old? This kid LOVES to Smile and is a charmer everywhere he goes!  He literally smiles ALL the time and we love it, but how could you not especially with those squishy cheeks and bright smiling eyes!  He  has a great laugh which is still very deep!  He is a very vocal baby and definitely got his Dad's voice that carries really well!  We have to take him out of sacrament meeting often because his voice is SO loud that you can't hear anything, not because he is crying.  On that note- he rarely cries, only when he is tired or rolled into something and is stuck.  He loves to roll and especially likes to make his way over to Eli's train track and roll over it and break it.  In this case we hear very loud screaming "NOOOO SPENCER, NAUGHTY BOY, ROLL OVER THE OTHER WAY" from his older brother.  This is really funny to watch as Spencer just stares at Eli and smiles! (but isn't that what little brothers are for?)  Eli has mastered rolling him over away from his toys, (I can wait a little for the day that Spencer is faster and just follows him right back)  Eli as he is rolling Spencer over grunts and says :"Wow Spencer, you are getting so big and heavy!"

Spencer is now offically caught up on his shots and Dr appointments since being behind from his hospital visits.  He is 40% in weight and height.   He still isn't a huge fan of food, and would prefer his bottle at all times, but he does eat his food and is a pretty good eater. He has just started to hold his own bottle which is SOOO NICE.  In the last month he has cut 4 teeth (2 bottom first, then front two).  We are happy to have those teeth finally through the gums, makes for much better sleeping through the night. He still is a pretty good sleeper 9 hours, then a bottle and another hour or so.  He definitely is a morning baby and is ESPECIALLY loud in the morning when he is the only one up,  sitting and relaxing in bed with this little one awake doesn't happen and isn't really an option :(

Spencer Hated the binky until this last month.  He never needed it and couldn't even keep it in his mouth if he tried, but with his teeth coming in he loves it,  it was so much easier having a baby who didn't like or need the binky.  We were spoiled and now are searching for his binky constantly which is no fun! but it does keep him a little quieter in the mornings and in sacrament meeting :)

Anyway that's a short recap of Spencer!  We love him and love what he adds to our family!  We are so blessed to have two handsome little boys!
